Another successful Christmas Fair for St. John’s!
It could not have been done without the help of every Parishioner!!
Thank you to each and every one of you for your help setting up, baking, crafting, knitting, sewing, donating to the raffles and cost of lobster, our wreath makers, giving your time volunteering, our team in the kitchen for cooking a delicious meal, those who came to support us, and the many who stayed after to clean and put the church back in order.
Special thanks to our wonderful Sunday School staff and children. They created some beautiful items for their table and sold out of everything!!! St John’s is truly blessed!!!
All of our prizewinners were thrilled with their items and many compliments and positive feedback were received from each and every one who picked up their raffle/silent auction/quilt winnings this past week.

Saint John’s Sunday School was happy to report that their contribution to Saint John’s Christmas Fair was a complete success. For the entire month of November, our dedicated Sunday School children worked on Christmas-themed crafts including wooden crosses, glitter globes, wooden bulbs, snow globes, and even a hand-painted nativity set. Saint John’s Sunday School is happy to report that nearly every item offered at our craft table sold. This was an excellent opportunity for the children of Saint John’s to be contributors to the benefit of our congregation with their time, talent, and treasure. Please don’t forget to compliment our youth next time you see them on a job well done. Thank you! Will Hibbard
Consider making a donation to our Christmas altar decorations including Poinsettia’s, in honor or memory of someone. Please fill out a form found in the Narthex and drop it in the alms basin, mail it to the office, or call the office during business hours to place your order. Suggested donation is $20.00. (Please print on the form.)
Sandwich’s old fire station on Route 6A here in the village is home to one of the Massachusetts Military Foundation’s two Empowerment Centers? Open to those without access to Joint Base Cape Cod, the center is open by reservation only and you can visit www.mmsfi.org/empowerment-centers/. Currently they are in need of donations of hats, gloves, and canned soup, scarves, diapers, and wipes as well as volunteers. You can bring items to the Church or the Office and we will make sure they get there.
