For Personal Action – March 24

Annually, March 22 is World Water Day. Globally, 2.2 billion people do not have access to safe drinking water. According to the World Resources Institute climate change is likely to increase this number. The theme of World Water Day this year is Water and Climate Change. *( https://www.worldwaterday.org/). Read over the sections: Learn, Share, Act.

We may have an abundance of clean drinking water, but others do not. For us to value our abundance means not wasting water: low flow shower heads, toilets that use less water, etc. It can also mean supporting efforts to bring clean water to other parts of the world that do not have it. One such effort is located here *(https://water.org/). Consider donating to its work providing clean drinking water in parts of the world where it is difficult to access. This organization receives a top four star rating from Charity Navigator *(https://www.charitynavigator.org/ein/582060131).
