Caring for Creation May 17/18

DAILY LIVING PRACTICES TO CARE FOR CREATION

During April, May, and June we focus on the importance of earth/soil in our Caring for Creation section.  The new life of Easter helps us undertake little resurrections in the broken parts of ourselves and the world.

Quotation for your Meditation

“Service has a life of its own. A single act of kindness may have a long trajectory and touch those we will never meet or see. Something that we causally offer may move through a web of connection far beyond ourselves to have effects that we may have never imagined. And so each of us may have left far more behind us than we may ever know.”

Suggestions for Personal Action

The Master Gardener Association of Cape Cod helps others learn to grow.  Their programs serve as resources for accurate and unbiased scientific information on plant management for the benefit of citizens of Barnstable County. The following link *(https://mastergardenerscc.org/resources/pollinators/) specifically deals with pollinators, how they help us, and how we can help them now that they are in serious danger.
